What Claude Fable 5.1 is best at
Reference answers where cost is secondary
Gold-standard answers for evaluating other AI systems, the authoritative version of a dataset or rubric, or a single deliverable others will be judged against: work done rarely, where the model's price is a small part of the cost.
Literature synthesis across a corpus
A 1M-token window holds dozens of full research papers in one request, so a synthesis can work from the full text instead of retrieved chunks. Reading 500,000 input tokens costs about $5.00 at list, so size the corpus to the question.
Multi-party document review
Merger agreements, multi-party contracts and regulatory submissions with cross-referenced exhibits are where a higher price tier can pay for itself. Check Claude Fable 5.1's answers against cases your reviewers have already resolved before you rely on it.
